The Jets are being weird.  They get a big return TD, so what do they do?  Use a different return guy on the next kickoff.  Tebow running the zone read pretty well in the redzone?  Put Sanchez in for two straight incomplete passes.

What's the point of alternating QBs? I mean as a casual, at best, NFL viewer I just don't get it.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

I'm also getting tired of Trindon Holliday fucking up kickoffs.

MadBurgerMaker

Holy shit.  That was a pla....did Gruden just say JJ Watt is a hall of fame candidate?  I like the guy too, but lets tap the brakes, dude.

Yeah, that's what I said too.  He's had a great first two years, but let's remember Jared Allen here.  If all of the sudden Watt were to slow down, noone would remember his name.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

I almost went with the Shawne Merriman example, but then he was clearly enhanced by the roids so not fair to Watt.

And Gruden was just repeating and agreeing with Wade Phillips on the broadcast

No shit.  Once that guy had to get tested, his career disappeared faster than Brian Bozworth's shoulder cartilage.

katmai

But shit, who knows what will happen over his career. I mean look at RGIII, for all we know this concussion could be start of habitual thing that cuts his career short.

Not even including last week, all his games this season have already demonstrated that he's going to play like Vick, McNabb and McNair, come hell or high water.  A career cut short, with the mandatory 3-9 games missed a season because he wants to be Superman, and thinks he's still playing Rice.
