they took the Martimes and the south shore of the St-Lawrence.  They got agriculture, potatoes and fisheries.  No need for anything else.  Look at the map, nobody wants to go to Nevada, so presumably, nobody wants to go to Toronto or Montreal without electricity :D

I just can't imagine myself living in a world without fries.  that's why I thought of the New Brunswick and PEI giant potatoes as a seperate issue :P
