The T-shirt is by definition the most casual of wear.

Tucking it in is rejecting its basic function, and makes you look like a tool.

Don't do it. Don't be a tool.
Yep.

Original T-shirt wearing icon Marlon Brando: tucker. Does he look like a tool? Does he?

Sweetie, it went out with Chuck Taylor high-tops, keeping a long comb in your back pocket and wearing your belt buckle on the side.  :)

But if you do, make sure you get one with a pocket.  Then you'll look really cool.
What's wrong with t-shirts with pockets?

Dude, if you were that cut, wearing a t-shirt like that, you'd get a pass from even the baddest muthafucka on the planet.

This is true.  Tucked works for a physique worth that sort display.  So for me, that ended somewhere circa 1998

But here is the thing:  I'm tucking it in because it's more comfortable that way.  I'm not doing it because I want to dress up while wearing a t-shirt, I'm doing it because to me it makes way more sense from a practical perspective.  Therefore, I don't see this in the same league as wearing socks with sandals, because there you're obviously directly contradicting the very purpose of sandals.

In the end do what you feel is right.

I dont. Easier to carry concealed untucked.

Then don't wear clothes that are not meant to be tucked in, if in fact you want to wear only clothes meant to be tucked in "for practical reasons".

I think it says something about you that you find anything tucked in "more comfortable" than untucked. In fact, it is probably a good idea to go ahead and tuck in your pocketed t-shirts, because it is an effective way to communicate your personality to the world without the uncomfortable and often awkward need for actual spoken communication. Especially with girls.

Maybe get a pocket protector for your pens while you are at it... :P
