German magazine "Legacy" called it their best album since "Empire".

Debateable.

Well, I haven't checked it yet, so I can't comment.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I'm enjoying Endstille's new album "Verführer" btw. (Yes, they look like a nazi band at first glance. Yes, the disassociate themselves from Nazism).

The design for the t-shirt design based on the album is fun, though:

Odd to have a German Imperial Eagle talking about victory when the German Empire never actually won a war.

The eagle speaks about war, not victory. I think that the comment is pretty neutral and not a "we win"/"we lose" statement.

Franco-Prussian War.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Your history may be different then mine but I recall the German Empire was declared after that war had already been won.

If the German Empire had been around in 1870 they surely would have invaded Russia, Belgium, Denmark, and Austria-Hungary as well as France.  Germany never was interested in starting just an ordinary war.

William became German Emperor on January 18th, 1871.  The Franco-Prussian War ended with the Treaty of Frankfurt on May 10th, 1871.  Paris hadn't even fallen when the German Empire was formed.

It would appear that your recollection is incorrect.  I suggest that you educate yourself, before coming up in my house.  Word to your mother.

Point taken.  The German Empire got to take credit after the mighty Kingdom of Prussia had done all the work.

You shouldn't be so dismissive of the troops of the rest of Germany.  They performed important tasks, in spite of being usually inferior to their Prussian equivalents.  Von Der Tann-Rathsamhausen even had a battlecruiser named after him.

You should try it, too - it makes you appear (slightly) less fat. :)

God Dethroned have also released a new album; WW1 themed. It bears the punalicious title "Passiondale".
