I hope you don't like abstract seascapes and poorly rendered otters.  :(

Looked it up and apparently if the Seattle fault slipped (magnitude 7) a 3.5 meter wave would hit Tacoma.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I could live with that.

Tacoma is to Seattle as Oakland is to San Franciso.

For east coasters, maybe as Newark is to New York.

They need to find a way to divert the tidal wave so it destroys Spokane.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

If it diverts enough up the Columbia it might.

Would take quite a wave to go over the grand coulee dam the wrong way.

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

The portion of Seattle build on land/silt that they shoveled from the hills into the Elliot Bay will probably get fucked up pretty good by liquefaction.

Yeah, I thought Seattle was built on a mud flat. Some parts of the city have had the streets built up so high the original ground level is several stories underground now. It's like a big ramp going down to the sea.
