Can't go to bed yet, so I'm going to watch a film; the BBC iplayer site has the following selection to watch, obviously heavily biased toward their Xmas schedules.

So which shall I watch ?

    Bat 21
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion
    G-Force
    Herbie Goes Bananas
    Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo
    Herbie Rides Again
    The Heroes of Telemark
Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Fra
    Jump In!
    Nativity!
    Pinocchio
    The Santa Clause 2
    Scarlet Street
    The Secret Beyond the Door
    She Wore a Yellow Ribbon
    Space Camp
    Tamara Drewe
Play this episode While the City Sleeps
    The Young Victoria

Go with one of the Love Bug movies.  :P

Is "Heroes of Telemark" a movie about ski jumpers?
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

  Nice try but I would rather watch Breakfast Club and Spy Kids over anything mongers listed.

Young Victoria.  Disturbingly fappable.

I'd rather watch Pinocchio, Lion/Witch/Wardrobe or Young Victoria. :contract:

In the end I watched 'The Heroes of Telemark' OK, though I'd not noticed before how much the had to shoehorn in 'fact' that Mr Douglas was the romantic lead.   :)

Elaborate.

Anyway, Manos isn't so horrible.  I mean, it is veritable shit, but I don't think it's earned the "worst movie ever made" title.*  I think it has good atmosphere.

*Like, the Creeping Terror is much worse.  Starfighters is worse.  The Beast of Yucca Flats is worse.  The actual worst movie ever made, that I've seen anyway, was made in 2009, however, and comes by the name After Last Season.  I'm 99% sure it was a Producers-esque investment scam.  It's insanely bad.  You know how Birdemic was purposefully bad?  This is at least twice as purposefully bad.

But I can understand why it's considered amongst the worst.  Now, how Eegah got on the Wikipedia list of "films considered the worst" is beyond me.  That movie's actually pretty okay!
