This part is dreadful.

Quote"I've done more impressive things in my life, to say the least," he said. "I was just pleased I wouldn't have to go looking for my phone in a bush. It was a work phone, too, and I would have had to go to [my managers] to get a new phone and that would have taken two weeks, ballpark, without having a phone.
"I've never been quite sure what the point of a eunuch is, if truth be told. It seems to me they're only men with the useful bits cut off."

I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

I'm more worried about the guy who has one gun and a bad attitude than a guy who has 100 guns.  ;)

No kidding. I'll take habs and B4 and their 48 guns over, well, a few people on this forum with just one gun...:P
  Once they pull out their 48 guns, they put themselves at an immediate disadvantage.

:D

Well after years of resisitance, I have purchased a glock.

Sumbitch, I just went into to by primers.

Are you buying a new gun every day?

That's an expensive hobby!

No, just run into good deals.

Mint, used, Glock 20, two 15 round mags. 350.00

Do you purchase these things with an eye to perhaps selling them at a profit down the road or are you a collector - or perhaps both?

I have no desire to sell any of the firearms I own. A collector of sorts I guess.

350$ is not cheap.
For a Glock in mint condition?  I disagree.

Only previously used by a little old lady to murder on Sundays? That sort of thing?  :D

lil ole ladies need to protect themselves too.  ;)

Seriously though, it's pretty easy why that Glock 20 (10mm Auto) was there and for that price.

The product has no brearing on the equation if you buy one every week, 350$ is not cheap. Cheap is 10$.

Not true. That just makes for maybe an expensive hobby, depending on your income.

Besides I dont buy a gun once a week.

If I can buy a piece of land with a market value of 2M for 50,000 dollars that is exceedingly cheap and I would do it without hesitation.

Assume the land really does have a market value of 2M.  :P  His point was that the value of being inexpensive is an absolute value rather than a relative value.  So I used an extreme example to show the error of his ways.
