Razgovory

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I don't like the multicolored state bullshit, so I just manually made my own map. :)

I'm beginning to suspect Viking may be my ancient enemy.

If I had had the pleasure of actually breaking your bones and beating you up I'd proudly cop to it. Unfortunately for me I never got the chance to mutilate you.

One of these days Viking, you'll beg God that I'll just kill you quick.

That makes no sense, there is no God.

Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

Here is mine.  I have a few states left to explore.

You should take a big chunk of vacation time (minimum 3 weeks), and drive to San Fransisco, and then on the way back swing south through SoCal, Texas, and Washington DC. You will then have a respectable map, and have completed the great American road trip.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

I'm not sure driving across the country is a good idea considering his complete lack of understanding about how to maintain a car.

States I haven't been to using Cal's rules:

Alabama
Alaska
Arkansas
Iowa
Kansas
Maine
Minnesota
Nebraska
North Dakota
Oklahoma
Rhode Island
South Dakota
Wisconsin

But some are a real stretch. I've been to Charlotte and Mississippi for 1 day each for work, so does that really count as a visit? I've spent the night driving through Kentucky and New Mexico. I would add those states to my list too (not Charlotte because that isn't a state though).

With most posts here, it would be redundant.  :P

States I've just driven to or stopped at airports in are New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and California. Don't know if I've ever gone through Delaware, would have to look at a highway map to be sure.

For states I have visited I earn only 142 Electoral Votes. -_-

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.
