Quite a few of the Languish population are parents, so I thought I may as well find out if you have had the same problem as me re chidren's clothing. The problem is that the clothes keep on shrinking  !

Every season I dig out the clothes they wore the previous year, find that they are too small and have to go out and buy new ones. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, using the wrong cycle on the washing machine, over-enthusiastic use of the tumbledrier, the wrong laundry liquid?

It certainly costs a lot of money. Have any of the other Languish parents had this problem? If so, did you find a solution?

Languish is turning into Mumsnet :(

Why don't all you parents of different-aged kids pass on your hand-me-downs?

You forgot to mention that the clothes you buy your kids are very expensive - more expensive then the clothes normally bought by the average languishite, and therefore should be expected to expand as needed.

I don't know what you are talking about:

In any case I have noticed this problem already.  Clothes from just a few months ago have shrunk so much they are now laughably tiny.

I fully support the Longhorns indoctrination I see going on there.

I do, at least. We have a whole network of older cousins from whom Carl gets clothes, and younger cousins to who Carl gives clothes. Some clothes have been through a number of kids by the time they go to Goodwill ...

Yes, sorry about that oversight, I was tired this morning from drinking too much madeira with my stilton the previous night.

Since you are both wearing the same outfit, I can only conclude that you are growing as well and simply passing down the smaller versions of your wardrobe to your son.

BB, You need to send Valmy a Jets jersey. Valmy wears it, takes a picture & then BB replaces a picture of him by Valmy's in Jets jersey. How long will it take Lady BB to notice that it isn't BB?

Ah, the laugh we will have.

Growing?  Nobody is growing here.  The clothes are shrinking!

I wish I could get my hands on a Jets jersey.  Damn things still aren't for sale yet.
