Headlights died at same time?

Both my car headlights died at the same time, so of course I check the fuses, they are all ok! how can both bulbs decide to blow at the same time? I hope there is not a short or something. Oh well, I guess I'll have to replace them to find out.

Happened to me one night. Left borders and realized a few minutes later that I couldn't see veryw ell.  Driving home with high beams got me some angry looks let me tell you.
