Norwegian Local Elections!

Yesterday local elections happened in Norway. Now, to explain the results in Languish friendly speech..

1. The Wicked Witch of the Left

was humiliated and announced her retirement (6 years after she promised to do so after failing to give kindergarten coverage nationally)

2. The Wicked Witch of the Right (to be found in Slargosite wet dreams dressed in leather)

has seen her party drop from being the leading bourgeois (the norwegian term for right of center parties) party to being third, getting less than 5% in Oslo

3. The Right Party (conservative on the Norwegian Scale) gained more than 10% in the election taking votes mainly from the Progress Party (see nr 2.) and the Labour Party (not nr 1.) resulting in a 56.3% vote for the Right of Center Parties in total.

4. The only city remaining in socialist hands is Trondheim, my home town, and with the socialists appealing to the christian conservatives to join their coalition I can be sure that bars will continue to close a 2 AM grrrr....



Oh, well, this all bodes well for the general election.... too bad the only election that actually mattered to me was a failure from my point of view...

First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.
