There are lots of forms of benign fasciculation that can cause twitching or tightness occasionally, if it is persistently happening over several days that could be a concern, though.

I went to a doctor about the fainting. Neither a cardiologist nor a neurologist found anything out of order but I will get a EEG scan just to be sure. I fainted after missteping and straining my ankle, so the pain with the heat apparently can be a common cause for fainting like this.
