Bought 3 bags of salt today. Also bought a replacement shovel, as one had a cracked handle.

Cracked handle will be sawed off, sanded down and be added to my collection of wooden head knockers.

Mind you, nobody who lives in Toronto has any right to comment on anyone elses' weather. 

It's like those weird stats that London gets more sun than Sydney and less rain than Rome - both true. But we get them spread generally at random throughout the year, while they concentrate them into distinct seasons
