Normally when it's hot out here, about 80-85, I just open the Windows, turn the ceiling fan on. About midnight it, cools way off to just get under all the blankets. I just leave all the fans on till I wake up about 0500. Shut them all off and turn the heater on for a bit.

Football practice yesterday in all that heat & humidity was fun. The boys were dogging it during sprints early in practice.  Guess what?  That means MOAR RUNNING :menace:

Heat got to me today. Walked outside and immediately puked my guts out. Fun part was examining the puke for blood. I think I offended some people outside of Ollies Bargain Outlet.

We're actually getting some light rain here! I was wondering if it would ever rain again.  ;)  The state of Massachusetts is in a serious drought. Nothing like California though. For those of us on the big water system from Quabbin reservoir, the lake is in good shape. For towns with wells or their own small reservoirs they've had to put in restrictions, but that seems somewhat normal for at least some of those towns. Such as the town next to mine which has its own artesian wells, they seem to have water restrictions most summers.
