Actually I blame the government. From the study I remember reviewing (and posting here once), there wasn't any evidence that stricter access was actually doing much of anything to curb meth.

Ugh. That stuff upsets my stomach and dries me out something horrible. I'd rather suffer through the symptoms.

Wise words, sometimes it's just better to 'man-up' (actually woman-up is more appropriate) and deal with the symptoms rather than trying to medicate the feelings away. 

At least that's my 'reasoning' as regards back pain.

I've been told, it was such a good year/summer for the trees that they have a lot of excess sugar, so when the leaves fall it's predicted to be a noticeably more colourful autumn.

That doesn't make any sense. There's nothing manly about suffering unnecessarily. Besides, Meri's post was about the cure being worse than the disease.
