Of course being exemted from this law might be amusing too:

Though there'd probably be a downside I'm not thinking of...
two headaches? no thanks. although i guess if you left one you'd only have to give up a third of your stuff.

The obligation to pay income tax.  But only if I was the only one that could get away with it.

property and sales tax i can live with. it's the income tax that annoys me. looking at all those deductions on your pay cheque

Texas has super high sales tax and property taxes but no income tax at all.  Of course I still have Federal income taxes...
tax man always seems to get you somehow, doesn't he? I pay both federal and provincial, but i can't recall the rates (tiered to income level) which is sad becasue i had an exam on it last week lol.

I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Which one law would you like to be exempt from, provided it didn't directly harm others ?

Exempt from all human laws, imperfect laws made by imperfect beings are too arbitrary for my tastes.
