Yeah they are portable, handheld and here in states go from $100-200 (looking at websites we have a few more versions then what is on the uk one)

Thanks for the advice Kat, I bought a kodak Zi8, just started experimenting with it.
I think I need to buy a decent mic and sort out a method for recording outdoors.

Here's my first couple of tests, I asked an ex-army friend of mine to describe his basic training during the early 60s. The 2nd video is of him talking about his first assignments and time in Libya.

We really need to sit down and do a lot more, once I've sorted out the what's the best quality and most efficient way doing these youtube videos.

Isn't going to happen; the young hot bisexual women I know, are somewhat reticent about talking of private matters.
