The one child policy is pretty good in theory. Overpopulation is quite the threat. And less Chicoms can only be a good thing.
In practice of course it leads to dead babies, too many men and other nastyness.
Still not a downright indefensible policy though, iffy but middling. Especially with all its modern loop holes.
