I guess it really depends on what the leftover is.  At some point this week I'll be having leftover vegetarian korma with basmati. :mmm:

You folks also have to remember I was 'po in the mid 90's and for about a year I really had to stretch food. So I can't stand the sight of meatloaf 2 days later.

There are exceptions to the rule of course. Thanksgiving turkey, leftover pizza and chili.

Speaking of meatloaf...does anyone have a good meatload recipe?

I want to make some, but the wife hates the stuff, and refuses to make it.

Grey Fox

Bread crumbs, meat, dry onions. Fashion into a loaf & put into a mold. Cover with some bbq style sauce. In the Oven until cook.

Would she like a cheese-stuffed meatloaf?  I made that once from an old cookbook (circa 1950) and I loved it, but Princesca didn't and therefore we've not made it since. :(

Does she like spicy food?

I have a recipe made up that coincidently does have cheese ala Caliga, but just a trace.

Try making it from a fresh cookbook, see if it makes a difference.

The mere thought of cheese stuffed meatloaf makes my stomach tighten.

IOW this whole thing was basically a publicity stunt.  NICE. :showoff:

my father despises leftovers above all else,

Good man. I also loathe the thought of the same meal again within a week.

Me too. At work people are constantly bringing and heating last night's leftovers for lunch. I shudder at the thought. What I don't eat gets green-binned in my home.

I love leftovers.  We usually make some rpetty good suppers, and it's almost as good the next day.  If I had to make a brand new meal for lunch I'd be making sandwiches, which gets old after awhile.

Nice to see that UCLA is maintaining their tough admission standards.
