I know it isn't fair, given my own delight in pretty geeky stuff...but when someone admits to being a professional wrestling fan, I can't help but mentally drop them a few rungs down on the mental acuity ladder.

I went through a 2-3 year phase where I was deep into wrestling.  Don't follow it now and don't care to, but there is definitely a more intellectual way to appreciate wrestling if you dig into the behind the scenes/kayfabe side of things.

Makes me think of this that I just saw /all the paper I wrote about Baby's Got Back in high school.

I  wasn't ever what I'd call a fan, but I used to enjoy watching wrestling a bit back in the late 70's to late 80's but after that it got too cartoonish and crappy for my taste.

"Skeet skeet" is slang for ejaculation (which can also be used as a verb) but the "Skeet Skeet motherfuckers" are Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz' homies at their record label, Skeet Skeet Records (so named because Lil Jon was originally producing music for porn..)

I definitely didn't know that backstory...so the more you know?

I used to be really into wrestling.
Then I got to around 8 years old or so and somebody decided to convince me it was fake.

I was really into wrestling as a kid, then I got into it again a few years ago, in an ironic kayfabe thingie, until I realized it was just stupid.
