A bunch of handsome dudes talking fast, a lot of flim-flam and glitter, but nothing actually happens underneath.

So it's an allegory of Marty's sex life?

True, the night ended well.

The movie is godawful though. The first one was a decent caper movie (I love me a good caper movie), but this one it's like a con in itself. A bunch of handsome dudes talking fast, a lot of flim-flam and glitter, but nothing actually happens underneath.

Nothing happens??  They grift a Corleone!

Looking at recent releases that I missed in cinemas that are just out for rental here in Spain: Home, Chappie, Focus, the new Marigold flick, Selma... what should I see from this lot?  Looking mostly for Friday night entertainment here.
Chappie is boring.  Marigold is apparently good, haven't seen it.  Focus is good up until the ending, apparently.

Might have been fun if they went against the mob. The problem with these movies is that they hardly break a sweat, and they outsmart everybody at every step. Even any problems they may have during the caper are played just for laughs and disposed of in the following scene. It makes for little dramatic tension. You never get the feeling that they might fail, that they are at any point against the wall... it's just suaveness porn.

Nymphomaniac Volume 1. For a movie about sex, there sure is a lot of talking.

The Mrs. H segment is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

Kingsman. Shockingly good. Boy's Own Adventure meets chavs. Good casting against type (except for Colin Firth, who plays the frothiest Firth ever).

Kingsman's just great.

I'm looking for some series to watch... Turn: yay or nay?

Scipio

Hell no. It's terrible. John Adams miniseries far superior.

it's good (ok, bordering on average), but it does not have much to do with history.

I saw that one some months ago and liked it a lot, so that's why Turn picked my interest. I know it's not particularly faithful to history though...

I've channel surfed about four episodes of Justified and it seems like more or less the same thing happens in each episode.
