Well, this is great. The Russian studio that owns the Soviet-made Tarkovsky films has posted them on youtube, for free.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. Sharknado.

Cat 5 tornado hits L.A., sharks are flying all over the place, even swallowing people whole sometimes.
As bad as it sounds, yet, can't stop watching it :D

Going through Breaking Bad again, the thought struck me- a prequel about Grey Matter days. I would definitely give it a look.

I've seen a few down the years, over there they're called white harts or hinds.

My small home town even has two different pubs named after them, one claiming to be the original or at least the origin of the naming convention. Something to do with a Henry VII hunting trip.

What were you on?

Boredom and insomnia. I needed a brain exercise, and I was confused why Netflix would suggest this thing to me. So I decided to watch it.

The last documentary I watched was the one Steven Fry made about Wagner and going to Bayreuth. I don't see what that has to do with deer.  :P

You fell into the trap there.

It once suggested a 1954 Bollywood extravaganza called "Taxi Driver," about a neighborhood hero called "Hero" who drives a cab.  He and his loser friends get involved in all sorts of dull hi-jinks and there's a woman who sings the Gita.  It took me about an hour to realize that the film had so many positive ratings because it shared the name with a much better 1970s American film by Martin Scorsese.

Anyhow I'll kill the Netflix algorithm writers for you first when I become a samurai.

Is 'Captain Alatriste' worth a viewing ?

It's about average.  Not terribly good, but not terribly bad.  There are a few good scenes, imho.

Deer cross the street a lot. The filmmakers saw a school bus coming when they were watching the deer by the road and they were able to warn the driver. It's a good thing filmmakers are being vigilant making sure there are no deer accidents. Can you imagine if they weren't there?!

I like this better than most asshole nature documentaries, where the camerapeople watch terrible things happen and we only don't hear the slapping sound of their masturbation due to post-production sound editing.

Socialist film may not be very good, but at least it's available to the People.

N.b.: based on viewing the first forty-five minutes of Solaris.
