In fact, as I've alluded to before, it kind of bugs me because then I've got to do it too.

Not necessarily.  In fact, most polls show that women prefer men with pubes.  And no, I DONT REMEMBER WHERE I READ THAT

Though, it's how crabs win. :(

By accident I watch 'Insomnia', pretty damn good; good acting all round, my only criticism the director barely used Maura Tierney ( ).

What I don't need just now is a thoroughly depressing Norwegian film; anyone seen Norgy recently ?

And that's disgusting, 11B.  You must've been forever imprinted by that issue of Playboy from August 1974 you tripped over during adolescence.

Must be generational, but I like pubes on a chick. Lately I've really been into 70s German porn...man, it's like the black forest down there. :)

Dark Shadows, perhaps too Tim Burtonesque, or maybe just too little of everything else. Eva Green looked like she was suppose to be in Mars Attacks! instead of this one.

Needs uncrossed eyes.

Saw Prometheus last night.  Hm.  One thing that could have helped is if they had varied the background music just a little. The constant low tension thing made the movie seem never-ending.

I have to admit, I don't recall being more disappointed in anticipating a film since Phantom Menace.  And that's a shitload of disappointment.

Yeah, I'd say that's about right, although I went in as a Blade Runner fan more than an Alien fan (I enjoy but have never really loved Alien, or even Aliens).  Ridley Scott in the genre that made him famous?  Should be great.

And like with Phantom Menace, while I was disappointed immediately, it still took me about six to twelve hours to realize that it wasn't just not great, but was in fact serious dogshit.  I wanted to love it so much that I walked out of one of the worst movies of 2012 still trying to like it.  Unlike with Phantom Menace, I didn't drop another ten bucks on another ticket to see if I was crazy.

I will say this, it's not as inept as The Phantom Menace.  Like, it actually looks pretty good throughout and has some moving parts that aren't completely poorly designed... like... um... well, the prologue is okay.  It doesn't have a kid in it.  It doesn't retroactively fuck anything up (at least for me--but yeah it kind of totally does, so YMMV).

I just want to point out that I knew that it was going to be shit when I read the premise outline way before reading any reviews and never watched. I've seen the opening sequence on youtube with the albino with facial prostetics (it's filmed at Dettifoss in Iceland) but naturally never got round to watching it.

After it came out I read the crappy reviews and "Sceptics Guide to the Universe" deconstructed all the science errors and "Red Letter Media" deconstructed all the plot holes so I will not be able to enjoy it.
