a shining prequel? I hate hollywood.

Maybe fair though Stephen King is also doing his own revisiting.
is he being paid to revisit it? if so i hate him too.

Well yes, I'm assuming the plan with writing a book sequel is to make money. :P

Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

No, his publisher. He isn't part of the prequel, he's writing a sequel.

King is writing a sequel to the Shining. A vampire type story in which Danny is a middle aged nurse or somehting. haven't heard about a prequel. It wlll surely suck. I guess it will taek place in the Overlook Hotel, I guess maybe the twin girls or soemthing.

Watched Nicholas Nickleby the other night.  Pretty much crap.

Josephus

Watched Melancholia the other night. Strange, strange movie. In a good way. I think I liked it. Not sure.

Anyone know what the origin is of Bane's accent in Dark Knight Rises?  He says it was an Irish Traveller boxer named Bartley Gorman, but Hardy seems confused in calling him a Latin or a Gypsy, as all I can hear in Gorman's accent is the British Isles, and the Travellers are all ethnically Irish.

You realize that there are video/audio clips of Gorman, right?  You realize you can use those to discover what he sounds like, right?

Just in case it wasn't ear in the post, I listened to Gorman and he just has some strange hybrid Irish-Welsh accent.

It was clear, it just didn't make sense.  I think you're over thinking it.

Lost Highway. Not sure if I like it or not, and I'm usually a fan of Lynch.
