Similar, though I might remove them even earlier. I thought about digitizing them, but TBH, I can't be bothered, esp. since most of the collection were impulse buys, thinking, "I might watch this. Eventually. Maybe."

Strong recommend on The Sparks Brothers on Netflix (in the UK).

I love Sparks and I love Edgar Wright, so him doing a documentary about them is perfect for me. But it is really very good.

Ditto.  I've been slowly digitizing them so they cna be wathced in Plex.  Its a pain in the ass, especially with the TV episodes, to find the correct DVD from the pile.

Netflix seems to have gotten hold of a show they're calling old enough.

It's a old Japanese show where small children are sent off to run errands alone. It's painfully cute.

Seriously, it's something I've thought about but decided not to go for as it's really a pain in the ass to rip all the DVDs & Blu Rays.

The Eyes of Tammy Faye.

Not great. The performances are pretty good - especially Chastain - and I think there's definitely a film in this story, you can see what they're trying to do. But it just doesn't work. It's not focused enough on a narrative, or that narrative needs to jump around a bit too much perhaps. I'm not sure what's wrong - I think it's the writing that doesn't quite work. It may be a tone issue because it struggles to balance being sympathetic to her with the wider story.

We watched a couple box sets recently but honestly feeling like they are dead weight given all of those I have stashed and not used in California and the UK.

Someone told me that Bllu Ray on a 4k TV is much much better visual quality then anything you can get streaming.

IE, watching Westworld on a 4k Blu Ray on a 4k TV is much better then watching Westworld streaming on a 4k TV, because they aren't going to stream it in 4k?
