I am wondering more why someone thought this was a good idea.

My best guess is the 80's-cartoon watching kids are now of age to be in charge of things.  :P
They already brought back She-Ra and it is doing well.  I love it, for one.  :)
"Everything that brought you here -- all the things that made you a prisoner of past sins -- they are gone. Forever and for good. So let the past go... and live."

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did."

See? Now we just need the new He-Man/She-Ra crossover. BA would squee.
Quote"This is a Russian warship. I propose you lay down arms and surrender to avoid bloodshed & unnecessary victims. Otherwise, you'll be bombed."

Zmiinyi defenders: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."

I actually never watched/owned any of the figures when I was a kid.  I'll watch the He-Man show to see what they do with all of that voice effort, but ultimately I don't think it'll measure up to how good She-Ra is.

Seriously? What is so great about She-Ra? I mean I enjoyed the show when I was a kid with the easily killable robots and the guy with the pornstache and all.

I'm still holding out for the photo-realist Thundercats reboot :o
Let's bomb Russia!

Razgovory

My niece walked out of a film last week.  Keep in mind she's only 9 years old.  I was an adult before I walked out of a film.  My dim-witted brother-in-law took her to see an "R" rated film comic book movie.  So, the new Harley Quinn film gets a poor review amongst grade school children.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Raz is right. -MadImmortalMan March of 2017

Habbaku

It gets a poor review amongst this Languishta as well.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

After the reception of Cats, you might be waiting a while.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Fun fact: JM Straczynski was a fan of the old He-Man show, send in basically a fan script and was hired as a writer.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Fun characters, entertaining storyline, and a lot of overall enjoyment provided.

Started second season of Narcos: Mexico. I like Narcos. :)

Finished it. Nice. Could have used a bit more flesh, either I'm imagining things or there was less of that than previous seasons. I always get a minor latina fetish for a few days after watching Narcos. One thing was a little weird:
they went into a lot of detail regarding a fairly minor character's thoughts on life and retirement from drug smuggling, which felt a bit weird. Like that elf dying tragically in Two Towers "who are you again?".
Anyway that's a VERY minor complaint. Oh and the intro is still awesome, Narcos has to have one of the better intros on TV I think.
Women want me. Men want to be with me.

Admiral Yi

I've been oversold on Outlander.  Only the lead shows her goodies, and only every four episodes or so.

Speaking of olde times shit, anyone know how much naughty stuff there is in Thieves of the Wood?

Not much...and what little there is is more depressing than titillating.

There's always Silver Hawks or Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors.  Maybe even M.A.S.K.  :P
