I am wondering more why someone thought this was a good idea.

My best guess is the 80's-cartoon watching kids are now of age to be in charge of things.  :P

It's an animated series. I guess it'll be similar to their take on Castlevania.

Kevin Smith is doing it, it has a good cast, and it is animated. I mean I probably still won't watch it, but it could be good.

Castlevania was quite watchable. I'm fine with this.

EDIT: That one had Warren Ellis and this one has Kevin Smith, though...

Oh yeah He-Man was cheesy as hell. But they brought back She-Ra so I guess this was inevitable.

Yep. Same with the new Castlevania series and Dark Crystal. Needless to say, I am loving it :lol:

They already brought back She-Ra and it is doing well.  I love it, for one.  :)
