Wonder how they could continue now countermeasures to his power are becoming everyday
We don't really know from the show how those were being manufactured. With Diamondback out of operation, only evidence we have is that there are a finite number of countermeasures (though I suppose we could see someone learn how to create that power glove...though it didn't seem to be all that useful against him) and declining as they got used.

I don't recall him being hit by
the diluted version of the alien metal bullets given to the cops, so they might not be as effective as the full version that Diamondback uses
.

I agree that the show peaks in the middle and then it declines, although there's still some brilliant moments in the last eps.
I really don't think Diamondback is a compelling villain. The show never gives me reasons to care about him being Luke's estranged half-brother. I thought Cottonmouth was much more interesting.

Diamondback's reason for being a villain is too cartoony.
Yeah, the show takes a turn for comicbookville after being super grounded in the first half of the season, and it just feels off.
agreed. He is foreshadowed very nicely. Who is this guy so bad ass that even this suave Broadwalk Empireesque mob boss is scared of him?
Then he appears and.... oh.... really?
Seems to me they should have had two villains. A big sinister hands off mafia boss and then the deranged half brother ad a seperate person.
Holy crap, that's awful!

Better than the Spanish dub, though. That one is cringe worthy.

I liked it  :glare:

Looks like a decent adventure yarn, set in the Star Wars universe. Not asking for more, really.

Barrister

I thought the trailer was good.

It looks dumb. Though as a dad I am glad the entire universe always revolves around people's fathers. But hey the bar has been lowered considerably for Star Wars films so I will check it out.

It's just a one-shot spin off. So yeah, bar is lower and understandably so. The point with these (besides stuffing up Disney's coffers, of course) is that they explore minor stuff in the universe.

The only thing is that I hope that they don't make it so the dad character leaves the Death Star vulnerability on purpose.

CountDeMoney

I dunno, man...I was flipping channels not too long ago, and saw the cartoom series.  Fuck that.  Looked like Muppet Babies, only with more slapstick.

I liked Muppet Babies. It's actually the only Muppets show we ever got in Spain

Syt

I need to watch the Muppet Show episode with Alice Cooper again. :D
