@BB, just watched Mania 18. You were right, that turn from Heel to Face is pretty cool.
Colonel Caliga is Awesome.

Josephus

American Primeval.

Man, it's violent. The deaths per scene rate is crazy.

A portent perhaps?

Was watching an episode of Bob's Burgers - really liked a police woman guest character, but was wondering why her "I'm just trying to get through my day" attitude and dry, slightly annoyed sarcasm seemed familiar.

Checked credits - of course, Tig Notaro.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Amazon UK has put Civil War on Prime this weekend. Could only have been less subtle if they did it next weekend.

Also saw that Humanoids from the Deep leaves Prime soon over here, so watched that again. It's a trashy, sleazy movie, with plenty rape and gore, but it's been one of my favorite horror movies ever since catching it on late night TV once.

(Also, it has Doug McClure. You may remember him from such movies as Warlords of Atlantis, Satan's Triangle, or Firebird 2015 A.D. :P )

You should watch Inhumanoids next.  It has Decompose!

Apparently Doug McClure was a big Simpsons fan but had no idea Troy McClure was based on him.
PDH!

Roger Corman.
I prefer his sword and sorcery Conan rip-offs but yes, Humanoids from the Deep is... entertaining. :P
Barbarian Queen (RIP Lana Clarkson) Deathstalker I & II, Yojimbo The Warrior and the Sorceress, Amazons...
