Saw John Carter yesterday.  It was quite good, and very striking in 3D, even if it was too bright for Mars and the moons were the wrong shape.
I saw it in 2d.  Good movie.
Lucky.  The theatre I usually go to was only showing it in 3d, and I hate those fucking glasses.
It's a shame that the franchise is likely a no-go.  Even my wife, who hates those kind of movies, liked it.
What I speak out of my mouth is the truth.  It burns like fire.

There you go, giving a fuck when it ain't your turn to give a fuck.

Yeah, unless the movie makes a fucking fortune overseas.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Just saw a bit of Lebanon.  If you're hoping for a war flic, don't bother.  It's a film school project.

If y'all liked that Luck show, Hbo just cancelled it. Too many horse corpses.

Would've been cooler if they euthanized John Ortiz.

Too many horse corpses. Too few viewers.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

Maybe not enough horse corpses?  :)

Borgia, by Tom Fontana (not the one with Jeremy Irons).  I think that this one is actually better than the Irons one.  Definitely less Neil Jordan over the top shit in this one.

More of the Shield. Made me nostalgic for one my family would all sit around watching car chases as if there would ever be a time when the guy got away. :D

Star Wars Episode 1 in 3D- A friend drew me towards this with the promise of Star Wars. Only later saying Episode 1. Whatever, had nothing better to do.
I feel dead inside.
Its been ages since I watched this film so so much has only just dawned again.
That kid absolutely sucked and needed shooting. He just can't act. And his lines are...misplaced and ridiculous. Why on earth do they even take him to Naboo? I understand for the plot he needs to be a Wesley but...it goes a bit too far. I had totally forgotten the Jesus thing.
Ja ja of course.... Its not just that they have this character....his speech patterns are just annoying and high pitched. And the battle slapstick is too much.
And so much of the dialogue is just wooden and nasty.

The only redeeming part is Darth Maul and his fights.

But, hey, I gather that Episode I wasn't improve by 3D Jar Jar Binks?  :P

Yeah, he was badass.  If Lucas had been smart he wouldn't have killed him off, and made him an ongoing baddie in the trilogy.  But no, Lucas isn't smart.

Not even going to discuss the obtuse and insulting Japanese, Jamaican and antisemitic caricatures in Episode I.  One of the worst films of all time.
