First 2 eps of American Gods.... Wtf.
a) it's so good that you're speechless?
b) it's so bad that you're speechless?
c) it has nothing to do with the novels of the same name?
d) other, please explain?
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

Hearing good things on Brit cop show Line of Duty. Anyone watch it?

It's Ok. Happy Valley, Broadchurch, Luther, River, and The Fall are better IMO

PS: Gillian Anderson is one of the most stunning natural hotness ever.

To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

I don't get what that show is about either.

Most of Sully.  Well made, not terribly dramatic or tense.  That big public hearing in a hangar seems like a weird way to conduct an investigation.

That was a fantastic 1 hour made-for-cable dramatization stretched into an unnecessary hour and a half, all for the sake of looking for conflict.

Indeed. Add in Babylon for cop comedy show with the hotness that is Brit Marling

Those were my thoughts exactly. The dramatization of the even in itself is fantastic; the entire drama about trying to ping it on him feels forced and hastily put together and resolved. It also stunk a bit of the gubmint' is ehvul! cliché.

But the middle part makes it worth your viewing time, and the film is short anyway.

Yup.  On the upside, that was some of the best CGI I've ever seen.

I really liked the book, but I'm not really feeling the tv show. It has like a weird 300 vibe that for me doesn't work.

I watched the first episode, and didn't feel drawn in to watch any more.  I suspect it would have more appeal for fans of the book.

Arriety - anime adaptation  of the first part of the borrowers. Very Meh. Not much of interest actually happens. Bizarre arse holey monologue on death is sure to bore and terrify kids.
