So, Jupiter Ascending showed up on Spanish Netflix.

Yes, I'm going to do it.

WTF did I just see.
I didn't dare talking when I saw you post...  I thought you knew it was bad and you were one of those people like Duque who likes to watch bad movies :D
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

It wasn't as bad as that hookup movie Kunis was in.

I was indeed attracted to the "watch a trainwreck" aspect of it. It exceeded expectations.

MadImmortalMan

My wife has a Gidget movie on while she's painting the baseboards. I've seen some weird stuff since we gave up cable.

Strange to see James Darren as a young dude, and actually talking like Vic Fontaine, which is probably how most of us younger guys remember him.

Warcraft - Meh. I expected it to be utterly awful. It was pretty disjointed and clichéd. I was able to watch it though.
I have to find issue with the impractical giant gate the orcs use. It's 200 foot high while an orc is only 8 foot high...  All that wasted energy to keep open the needlessly gigantic gate.

It's people like you that get fired and escorted by security from production studios.

they have some bigger war beasts and flying dragons too.

Watching "Sunshine." Ray Fiennes plays three generations of Hungarian Jews.  I'm interwar right now. Lovely locales.  A pinch meandering so far.

Funniest thing about Warcraft is that the human characters feel more artificial than the actual CGI orcs.

But yeah, it's mediocre, but I've seen it worse. It's worst sin is that it's boring.

garbon

I was watching the latest season of Grace and Frankie and Sam Waterson's character mentions Rizzoli (of Rizzoli and Isles). All so connected with him and Angie Harmon having worked together.
"I've never been quite sure what the point of a eunuch is, if truth be told. It seems to me they're only men with the useful bits cut off."
I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

Habbaku

Review with Forrest MacNeil is still one of the funniest, darkest comedy shows out there.  It's ending soon, too, so anyone can easily watch it all in a couple of weekends.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

FunkMonk

Just saw Rogue One.

It was okay. Run of the mill war movie with lots of cool action. Characters were...  Okay I guess? No one really stood out to me except the droid; he was by far the best and most memorable.

My updated ranking:

Empire
Star Wars
Jedi/Force Awakens
Rogue
...

The other, you know, "movies"
Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.
