Visiting my parents for Easter, and need a movie to watch with them. Sword and sandal seems an apt choice... I presume all of The Immortals, the 300 sequel and The Rock's Hercules are terrible though?
How meta do you like your Hercules?
What I speak out of my mouth is the truth.  It burns like fire.

The Brain

Watched Jesus Christ Superstar. 25 years since last time. Still great.
Women want me. Men want to be with me.

I just discovered this cool show called "Archer".

Archer's great! Bit late to the party indeed.

Vikings season 2. Hedeby is apparently in an alpine mountain environment.  :P

Is there an actual mountain within 500 km of Schleswig-Holstein? I doubt it.

There's also Pompeii and possibly Noah might fit.  I haven't seen any of them though, so I cannot offer advice. :Embarrass:

No, there isn't. HC has definitely mixed up Denmark with Norway. Willfully or not.

While I like the action in Vikings, it sometimes hurts to actually watch the "history" behind it.

The awful history ruins it for me. Could never really get into it.

One of the better shows I never got into.

Wtf? Is Poland really that far behind?

We only got Netflix two months ago and I don't watch tv.

Yearning so much to be at the forefront of popular culture, and yet, stuck in Poland.

So many tiles in the mosaic that is Marti.

Very good show though.   :)

Settled with Hercules. It was mediocre, but not awful. Got the job done of entertaining my parents, although dad went on a tirade about the old Steve Reeves flicks (which are probably more charming, truth be said).
