Vikings... aren't swedish bears sleeping during most of winter?

You'll have to elaborate.
[spoiler]
In this episode, Bjorn Ironside is tracking a brown bear in the middle of the continent, during winter.  On several occasions he encounters to brown bear that decides to leave him alone.  The bear is seen outside of his den and at several locations, as if it was hunting for food.  In winter.  The north american bear will usually hibernate and only wake up if there's a danger near him, or something really disturbing, like almost starving.

I assume some of them still go to clubs and bars.  :hmm:

Except Gene died in 1991 (and reportedly wasn't very involved in TNG after the 1st season due to illness), and DS9 came out in 1993.

Yeah but he still managed to make some horrible TV before he finally bit it. The first season of TNG was littered with really terrible stuff. I mean, how can anyone defend Debt of Honor?

Even Frakes and Burton are on record saying that thing was a big racist piece of shit.  :P

My understanding was that the reason Roddenberry wasn't much involved after the first season of TNG was because he was kicked upstairs.

Which episode is Debt of Honor?  There were a lot of bad first season episode, which makes it hard to keep track of them.

In fact, Encounter at Farpoint was so bad, I don't know that anyone would have kept watching past the pilot if the show hadn't had "Star Trek" in the title.

EDIT:  Never mind, the comment about racism answered the question.

Code of Honor. SF Debris's rather scathing review: http://sfdebris.com/videos/startrek/t104.php

???

Even searching Memory Alpha, the only hit is a Graphic Novel published in 1992 going by that name.

Ah.  You mean Code of Honor, an early episode.  I don't remember watching that one.  Yeah, the summary makes it sound terrible though.

The answer is yes they sleep during the winter.

Watched K2. Bros rule! :punk:

Were there any sleeping bears in the movie?
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

So they'll get Will Smith to do a cameo in the next 21 jump street movie?
