I don't get LOGO here but they did a big coverage of that show on Feast of Fools (including interviews with the participants and whatnot). Looked like more fun than most reality tv shows.

I could maybe have understood the PETA's use of calories if 1) Pet Shop Boys were called Unsanitary Abbatoir Lads, Animal Testing Boys or Newly Eye-dropped With Acid Fluffy Bunnies or 2) the Pet Shop Boys were indeed somehow involved in unsavoury and shady business involving animals.

I watched a couple episodes of that and found it immensely amusing, particularly the "lip sync for your life" twist on the classic elimination. :blush:

I guess they were hoping that they'd rename to PETA Boys.

The Pet Shop Boys have contributed something positive to this world (mildly enjoyable 80s music).  The only thing I can think of that PETA may have contributed to this world is an increased cost of meat (due to forcing processors to implement humane shit that probably results in increased handling costs), which is MOST DISAGREEABLE.  :mad:
