Strange how you dan't have any modern classics like Catan, Puerto Rico or War of the Ring. I suppose most of the old timers in Languish aren't into post MTG games like Dominion.

If it doesn't have endless sheets of counters, CdM is not interested.

If I want to play a family game, I'll get a fucking family.

What's a family game for you?

Chutes and Ladders.  Carcassone.  Puerto Rico.
In short, gay shit without panzers, cavalry or air support.

Another question for the hardcore grognards. How often do you play your games?

Stop being so fucking nosy.

The really grognard wargames? Never, except for PBEM :P

I play mine once a week, maybe once every two weeks, but never less than once a month. Sometimes I get in twice a week.

Perhaps if I had a wife and kids, I'd be more motivated to escape as well.

I have the same thing with roleplaying books. I have books for a couple of dozens of game systems I never played and will likely never play. :nerd:

I am waiting for the right moment to spring Twilight Struggle on Julie.

She has never once liked a single wargame I have bludgeoned her into playing, but I think this time will be different!

Online, I've got a game usually going all the time. I just won't play with languishites.

Actually getting a wargame out of the box? bi-monthly if I'm lucky.
