I don't want to put my last name in the public forum where it can be cached by google.  It's unusual enough that most searches of my last name are hits to me.

Yeah, I agree, it's pretty dumb.  You can always put some masking characters in the middle to make it cache-proof, if you're really itching to let us know.

For names, I think you should embrace your Canadian identity and name your kide Pierre (for Trudeau) if he's a boy or Michaelle Jean (to thank her for propping up the cons last winter) if she's a girl.  Don't, however, name him Oedipus if you can avoid it.
