I would not mind chips that work as isolated, redundant systems. Direct interaction with bodily functions and internet connection at the same time sounds like a very bad idea, though.
It will happen, of course. Just a matter of time.

Linux these days isn't so much the joke option it used to be.
I am seriously tempted to wipe windows and use ubuntu on my laptop- the only thing holding me back is that games won't work. If my laptop wasn't going to be my only compter from Friday I'd do it though.

I'd be pretty scared of this but if somehow they worked perfectly and weren't just Gov. GPS tracking chips with some add-ons and mods. hells yes. I want bionic limbs and laser eyes.

To be completely honest I'd go yes for all of the alternatives given.
