Sad, and angering, to see attacks like this. Good luck to the Spanish in dealing with this group and this kind of thinking. I guess the separatist group has been weakened, with all the pressure and arrests on them over the recent past? Or not, since they can still do this kind of thing?
As the IRA once said to set a bomb they only need to succeed once, the police need to succeed every time.
Let's bomb Russia!

Quite true. But eventually a movement can lose its impetus, reason for being, for political or other reasons. Any sign of that with the separatists I wonder?

Utter bullshit. Separatist groups are 100% legal; ETA is a terrorist group.

Newsbots go out of their way to avoid using the "T" word. It's always separatists or militants or whatever.

You know who else was a "terrorist"? The Lord Jesus Christ.

And killing him over it didn't work out so well.

I smell another pussy that believe in not making martyrs, that old argument of the weak.

Yeah.
One of these days somebody is going to get sued by a T group for using the T word.

Back when I was a little kid ETA killed over a hundred people a year. So yes, it lost its impetus quite a while ago. It still has around 100k supporters in the Basque Country (from a population of around 2 million) though so it is not going anywhere.

I didint realise it was so big. That's quite the mandate.
It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'
