A simple (well known) premise, but great execution. Loved the visuals and animatronics, though the final reveal was a bit unnecessary IMO.

Maybe he's packing? :D
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

Yeah, episode would have been a lot better without Sparkles. Weirdly shoehorned in.

True. I did also find it enjoyed the episode while premise had left me trepidatious.

Yeah, I was a bit worried, because the premise has been done a bunch of times in Trek (Darmok, The Enemy, etc., and of course there's Enemy Mine), but I thought it was very well executed and had its own spin on some things.

The Scavengers episode.... It sits uneasy.
This super powered planet destroying ship... Is beaten in seconds when shot in the mouth. And they never thought to shoot it in the mouth first?
The "humans all along!" reveal was obviously coming and makes no sense given the way they were first presented as some mythical big bad.

I hope there's a follow up where it's made to make a bir more sense.
There is a definite primitive borg vibe to these guys - though the time line is very wrong. Timey wimey stuff at work?

SNW seems to have this problem in a few episodes. Sets up plot threads to be resolved later it probably never will.

Well, this was an episode.

I ... don't know what to make of it. Maybe a bit much, overall?

I liked the dr who call out... and that's pretty much all I liked.
