The (Russian?) conspiracy machine is off and running. The main one seems to be that the Chinese and North Korean spies have infiltrated the opposition that that the president was trying to enact stricter anti-spying measures and was being block by said spies hence his need for martial law.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".

I believe 5 PPP members had already said they were going to vote yes in the next vote before this speech, this probably pushes the opposition over the top
