Twitter is incredibly toxic - but it still (mostly) has a diversity of opinions - even if incredibly toxic opinions are allowed to be shared.

From what I have heard Bluesky is nothing more than a left-wing echo chamber.

Yes but it's also still untoxic towards subjects that aren't political in nature.

I'm a leftist and I like my echo chamber of ideas but it's also nice to be in a place where I can read about Ukraine news or Georgia without having to wade through the pro-Russian bots and proto-NeoNazis of X. Plus, there if you post a picture congratulating yourself on earning a PHD the jokes will be funny instead of hateful.
