Mass migration isn't a thing.
People think its a real and serious issue as its an excellent scapegoat for the real problems in modern Europe.
Then be forever clueless as to why peoplevote the way they do.

A belief in a handy scapegoat for all the problems of the day doesnt make it true.

Which doesn't get us any closer to the truth.

Over 7 months later, we have a government. Sort of.

A prime minister that nobody has ever heard of and who is not a politician. So nobody actually voted for him, which is weird. Weirder still, the Frankenstein coalition is already squabbling amongst themselves publicly and, unbelievably, taking shots at their own prime minister. This is going to be a wild ride, if probably not a very long one.

"Wild ride" is not a phrase I typically associate with the Netherlands, outside of amusement parks.
The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.   -G'Kar

Wild by Dutch standards, I guess. It will most likely not reach foreign media.
