Yeah, for a wrestler that's like living to 150 if he were a normal person.  Dudes wear their bodies out so fast. :(

He did crazy hardcore matches (fire, thumbtacks, barbed wire, baseball bats .... ), but I don't think he juiced, unlike others, which may have played a role. Though I recall in the Beyond The Mat documentary from the 90s he was obviously having a lot of wear and tear in joints and bones, so I guess painkillers may have been on the menu (another very common abuse item in professional wrestling).
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Thank you for the Jimmy Buffet AAR Cal back in the day. I'd never have heard of him if not for your anthropology tour.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

He's wasting away in Morgue-aritaville now.  :(
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

RIP David McCallum from ... too much to list here.

First came across him as a kid when I saw him in The Invisible Man and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

:(   I haven't seen most of his shows, but he was a very memorable character in everything I saw him in.
