I tried to change mine to the Swimmer who won the first Canadian gold at the last Olympics but could not do it for some reason.

Avatar changes here are really frustrating lately.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

A confession, I habitually confuse Grey Fox and Viper because theirs are quite similar, so they've merge into this hybrid guy who lives near the Canadian border and is good with technology advice.

Surprisingly, Viper & I live about the same distance from the US border. 75-80km.

Mine is to the border of New York. Viper is Maine.

GF: family man, lives in Montreal suburbs, politically far left
Viper: single, lives in small-town Quebec, mostly pretty right-wing

Useful, you should start a 'cliff notes' thread and do some more posters; could be useful if anyone new EVER joins the forum.  :D

Only BB could characterize Viper as "mostly pretty right wing"

I agree with BB, Viper's got a very Quebec stance to his right wingness.

Back in the old forum no one could tell Grey Fox and General Wolfe apart; maybe GF is Languish's greatest enigma.

;)

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock
