Yeah, One of my computers got hit with the ban but not the other one.  If there's any info you need I'd appreciate it getting unbanned.

You should be good now frunk.  The problem was that the SMF software automatically injected an IP into the ban when Jake created it, but the IP actually belongs to Cloudflare (the CDN I use).  Anybody who happened to be routed through that particular Cloudflare instance would have been affected.  I dropped the IP ban, so things should be good for everyone now.

I don;t see any ban hits in the log since I did that this morning, so if you're still having issues try clearing your cache.  If that doesn't do it let me know.

No problem.  Cel had issues yesterday and I found and killed a few more spurious and incorrect ban rules.  I think I got them all this time.

We have learned that Richard of all people had a ban associate with him.  I think this is a nuanced way of the Baron telling us no one is safe.

I think I mentioned it before, but it's a side effect of having Cloudflare sitting in front of the server.  The board software doesn't see anyone's real IP address; it sees the IP address of the Cloudflare worker the request came through.  So, when it enacts an IP ban it's really banning a piece of Cloudflare infrastructure (and whomever happens to get assigned to it).
