Edit: Unrelated but interesting niggle with the new international covid passports for the double-vaxxed: the status of children. I think Ireland have just clarified after a bit of a furore that children whose parents/adults travelling with them do not need to quarantine if the adults have been vaccinated (or previously infected). Apparently the initial guidance was that the children needed to quarantine because they wouldn't have a covid passport.

Not sure how other countries are dealing with this?

I'm dealing with this now.
Going to Switzerland next week. My GF and I are double vaxed. Our son obviously isn't.
He will be expected to quarantine for 10 days.
We plan to count his pram as his quarantine zone.

I dunno - after 17+ years working for government I've found that governments are fully of very good and well-intentioned people, but that their ability to actually affect any change is incredibly limited.

It's up there with debt relief as a fundamental moral issue.

Yeah, makes me shudder that 3rd shots are already being pushed while the vast majority of the world hasn't had access to one.
