The show is so good. I love all the subtleties. Especially the implication that Lonni is fucking everything up (deliberately, for the Rebels) thanks to his position.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

She's great. The press junkets I've seen of her and Kyle Soller (Syril) last and this season have all been great fun - the two are total goofballs together. :lol:

Just finished that episode. I think I'll wait for tomorrow to see episode 9. I'm rather shaken up by the emotional storm they managed to gather. The build up of the tension until the switch from chanting to singing was masterful. It's a beautiful scene, and quite artistic.

Not sure I have seen a scene (and episode) that powerful in a while.

Masterful.  I particularly enjoyed the escape from the Senate, and I like how focused and adaptable Casian has become.  They really nailed his character.

He's Melchi - we saw him in Rogue One; then on Andor, Season 1 we discover he's a fellow inmate when Andor is sent to jail. Andor gives him his gun, stolen from Corporate Security in Ferrix. Which is what, presumably, is recognized by Vel.

Oh! Also, Star Wars The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire is currently 57% off ($12.99) on Amazon right now. I know garbon went to see the author do a talk not long ago. It seems like a really interesting book. Especially for folks here. It's a fictional historical academic account of the Star Wars saga written by an actual historian.
