I liked the wedding, felt it was the only part of this first batch that really clicked. Also, it was shot near here and I have trekked through the same path they climb during the second day of the ceremony

The other subplots it was more like "I understand what they're going for but the writing's too broad". I.e. the fractious rebels were waaay too cartoony, the Empire ICE subplot could have been an email... Still, always enjoy Andor.

Also, I need to pick Syt's brain to know if the TIE Andor steals has showed up before in the lore.

Syt

It's an updated TIE Avenger design from the game TIE-Fighter. See the cutscenes here:

Including the beam weapon: https://youtu.be/R78l7v3DqkM?t=188

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Damn, I should have remembered that!

In my defense (pun), the TIE Defender had a more unique design and that's the one novel ship I remember from that game.

Yeah, the Avenger also didn't pop into my head right away, but it looked familiar, so I paused and looked it up, because I am that kind of person, I guess. :P (I often do that with actors that look familiar, because it will bug me and not let me focus on the movie or show :D )

And because I am "that kind of person" I created a Spotify playlist of "in universe" Star Wars songs - cantina songs, Lapti Nek, etc.

For Bad Batch, Kevin Kiner made "medleys" for Cid's jukebox in her bar, and I had to do a double take when this came on (timestamp is in link - 4:44 minutes in). Apparently the Star Wars galaxy had 80s New Wave?

shame the music has such a weird name :D

It's mostly the soundtracks for Outlaws and Jedi Survivor, plus some others, most notably the cantina songs from SWTOR - which are not on Spotify.

BBY3.

Spoiler free - it seems more ... relaxed? Less stressful? :P

Love me some Space French on planet ... Francotalia? (Which would make it Savoy, I guess :hmm: ). :D

Much more about the day to day grind of it all, and the distrust/displeasure people have towards another, even if ostensibly on the same side.

I love me some vehicle porn, and while not yet having an official designation, Wookieepedia has put up a decent image of the new troop transport from Episode 3.

And yeah ... come on. :P

(Except with a much shorter front.)

"Say, FX-327 ... are we the baddies?" :hmm:

I love the little details, like the spade and equipment on the side.

Baron von Schtinkenbutt

I immediately thought the same thing when I saw it.  I paused and rewound a couple times just to make sure.

I love Saw Gerrera. That speech was unhinged but it worked. I was scared we were going to see the end of Bix in this arc, but they went another way and it works.

Habbaku

The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

He's fun to watch as an audience member, but I don't know how he's lasted this long as a leader.

At the rate they're killing their characters, there won't be many alive by ep13.

I wonder where will the nerd be posted after this op...
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

I'd argue most of his crew are similarly unhinged (high on fumes? :P ). His engineer seemed the most hinged of the lot, and it didn't seem to serve him well (And was he a spy, or not? Who knows!).
