We used to worry about Russian interference in Hungary, Poland and Vietnam. Now we worry about their interference in Latvia, Georgia and the Ukraine, countries they had controlled entirely. Hard not to see this as an improvement.

It wasn't that long ago that we were worried about Russian tanks on the Rhine.  Now the front lines are in eastern Ukraine.  Definitely an improvement.
